Petra Institute has trained participants in more than 60 countries worldwide. We partner with various international churches and organisations to build communities where children are welcome. Our foundation is based on Biblical values and principles and we create practical change by fostering relationships. Our coursework is presented through experiential learning and our outcomes have longevity.
We can help your organisation, church, community, or school to gain an increased understanding of God’s heart for children.
We listen to your unique needs and then we formulate a strategy that fits your vision. A key element in the strategy is to train a core group of leaders to do relational children’s ministry in their own context and from this group of leaders, we identify a group to be trained to train more trainers (training for multiplication).
We consult with schools, churches and other organisations, assisting with visioning, strategic planning, leadership issues, and organisational functioning. We consult on training processes, develop curricula and material, and advise on other matters related to children and their environment.
We achieve this through collaborative discussions and workshops. Where possible, we try to have face-to-face meetings in the context of the partner, but we also make extensive use of online meetings and digital communication to increase our reach into communities and nations, world-wide.
We highly value and foster meaningful relationships within our partnerships. Our consulting services are based on and tailored to the specific needs of our partners within their unique social and cultural contexts. Our role is to listen, advise, empower, and mentor within relationships, built on mutual trust.
